Annual Vestry Meeting February 28, 2021

Dear friends in Christ, 

Thank you for your patience. It has been more difficult this year (as I'm sure you can imagine), gathering everything we need for our Annual Vestry Meeting on February 28th at 11.30am.

This is the opportunity for the church to gather (albeit online) to reflect on the year that has gone by, and look to the future. 

All baptized members of the congregation over 15 years old who have been meaningfully engaged in the parish for at least 3 months are eligible to attend Vestry.

What is yet to come is the 2021 budget, which is being finalized this weekend. It will be circulated as soon as possible. 

If you wish to be a Eucharistic Lay Minister in 2021 (assisting at Communion), please contact the office. There is no obligation to do so if you are concerned, even if you are on the list. There is even a possibility that having persons assist at Communion might not be possible this year. 

If you have questions, concerns or motions for Vestry, you are welcome to send me an email (priest@squamishanglicanchurch.ca), so we can come to the meeting prepared, particularly with this unfamiliar format.
