Dear St. John’s family,
I pray that you have had a holy Advent and that you have found hope, love, joy and peace in the waiting in this difficult, challenging year.
With the extension of the restrictions by the Provincial Health Officer, it is official that we will not be able to gather in-person for any of our Christmas celebrations.
I am sad that I will not be able to see you in person (because I miss you!) as we mark this holy time, but I am also grateful for this decision, as it allows us to plan for the coming month. I encourage you to follow the restrictions as best you can as a way of following and honouring the Christ Child, caring for those who are vulnerable, like he was, in our community.
Though this will be unlike any Christmas any of us have experienced before, let us still take the opportunity to celebrate the coming of Emmanuel – God with us – so long ago, and yet still to this day.
To help us mark this time, St. John’s is offering several Christmas Services:
Christmas Eve
4pm family Christmas Eve service on Zoom:
7pm service of Lessons and Carols on YouTube.
St. John's Lessons & Carols service will premiere on our YouTube channel at 7pm on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Morning
Register for St. John's 10am Christmas Morning service on Zoom:

First Sunday of Christmas (Dec 27th)

We will share the Zoom information later this week.
Please do invite a friend!
If you would like to make a Christmas or end-of-the-year gift to St. John’s, I invite you to do so in our usual ways:
I give thanks to God for all of you (really, I do - everyday) and pray that you may be richly blessed this season.
Your brother in Christ,
