Christmas Shoebox Story

When the Christmas Shoeboxes were  distributed in the orphanage there was great excitement. The children were asked what their favourite item was, and one little girl replied ‘my pink toothbrush’!

When asked why, she replied ‘we have been sharing one toothbrush between 20 of us, but now many of us have received toothbrushes in our shoeboxes, so I have one of my own with no need to share and it is pink!’

As you pack a shoebox pray that God will guide your choices as He knows the child it will be going to and what they need. Maybe something as simple as a pink toothbrush can show God’s love and care for someone, and that He does indeed answer prayer.
